BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
This employee will be responsible for maintaining the Eddy County DWI Offender database through the entry of post-conviction court ordered sanctions and the IDA Screening Instrument into the DFA approved statewide database for convicted DWI offenders. This information will be obtained from Eddy County Court records. Maintaining accurate and complete DWI Offender Tracking information is an essential function of this position and is a requirement of DFA Program guidelines. The employee will help implement Prevention Education services, which involves co-facilitating the DWISE Victim Impact Program and obtaining certification as a DWI School Facilitator within one year of employment. Strong computer skills are essential for this role. Responsibilities also include accessing offender files, preparing billing statements for offenders, and processing payments, as well as basic receptionist tasks like answering phones, greeting, and assisting the public. Additional duties include supporting the daily operations of the Eddy County DWI Program, reporting at monthly DWI Advisory Council meetings, and frequently interacting with various agencies and individuals. Spanish speaking preferred. This position is grant funded and will remain in effect as long as grant funding is available. The successful candidate will perform all duties with minimal supervision, may be required to work irregular hours, attend job related meetings, and perform other duties as assigned.

STARTING PAY RANGE: $22.06 - $24.35
